85th Congress: The Senate Is Not In Session
Constituents across the United States Of Jesstopia are legally entitled to have their cases reviewed by their elected Senator. In the case that their representing Senator dies, is removed or resigns from office, the following procedures are in place to help ensure your case is fairly and promptly reviewed.
The process is as follows for any Senator who dies, resigns or is removed while in office:
A notice of death, removal or resignation will be posted to the Senator's respective webpages, whether third party or on senate.jesstopia.org.
The Senate Office Of Constituent Services will then assign case reviews and assistance notices to the nearest eligible Senator who serves Constituents in the nearest constituency.
All eligible constituents will be informed via mail and online their new case managers and their new Senator-designate to take on their case load. The Senate provides around the clock service to those Senators who are taking on another constituency until the vacant seat is temporarily or permanently filled.
